一 |     As the countdown intensifies for James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, one name is sparking growing intrigue, and it is Varang. She isn’t merely a new character; she is the beating heart of the frenzy, the mystery and the towering anticipation surrounding Cameron’s latest chapter. Varang is not crafted simply as an antagonist or narrative counterpoint, she is a force of nature.                    Talking about her character, she said, "I never saw her as a villain, and I don't think you say that as well, you're not the villain, you know, it's a little complicated, but I think both of these characters are also very principled. For me, you know, it was a great revelation to have the conversations with Jim around this theme where she tells a little bit about her biography, her kind of origin story, why she is the way she is. And it struck me as like she's actually a very human character, because the depth of trauma that comes from the separation from the connection to nature, which, you know, everybody here understands what that feels like, even if we've forgotten even what that feels like, but, you know, all of that, that disconnection breeds conflict."          To embody her intensity, Oona Chaplin immersed herself in curated music and symbolic decor on set, a ritual that helped her channel the fire, pain and conviction that define Varang’s essence.          Unlike the Omatikaya and the Metkayina, the Mangkwan are a clan pushed to the edge, a community that has endured deep wounds and spiritual disillusionment. Their suffering has distanced them from Eywa, Pandora’s guiding force. 二 |     Salman Khan and Hollywood icon Johnny Depp captivated audiences at the Red Sea International Film Festival, as viral photographs of their warm encounters and polite interactions quickly spread across social media, generating excitement among fans worldwide. The presence of these two veteran actors together sparked a wave of admiration and discussion, with many celebrating their meeting as a big cross-cultural event.           At the festival's closing ceremony, both stars presented themselves in their finest attire. Salman Khan chose a subtle and elegant style, wearing an ink-blue suit with a coordinating shirt, which beautifully enhanced his unique charm. Johnny Depp, known for his diverse yet classic fashion sense, donned a grey suit with a dark shirt and a scarf draped around his neck. A fan said, “When Bollywood meets Hollywood at the Red Sea Film Festival: Salman Khan and Johnny Depp serving looks and legends.” Another said, “Just look at the aura, man.” A third amused fan remarked, “Johnny Depp and Salman Khan, what kind of multiverse is this?!”            Salman also ran into Hollywood actors Idris Elba and Edgar Ramirez at the festival, and pictures of their meeting quickly went viral. At the event, Salman Khan presented the Red Sea Honoree Award to actor-director Idris Elba.           The description on the festival’s official social media account said, “Congratulations to actor and filmmaker Idris Elba for being honoured at RedSeaIFF25 with the Red Sea Honoree Award, presented by Salman Khan.”            Salman's most recent appearance was in Sikandar, which did not achieve the expected success. He also made a brief cameo in Aryan Khan's directorial debut web series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood.            On the work front, Salman Khan is currently preparing for his upcoming war drama, Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. This film draws inspiration from a chapter in the book India's Most Fearless 3, delving into the Indo-Chinese conflict in the Galwan Valley.
